I traveled till there. google said it’s open and when I arrived it was closed!!!!!!!!!! (And it was only 3:00pm)

Just a heads up! The boathouse will be closed until spring of 2026 so that the army corps of engineers can repair dam.
Excessive fishing going around the boating area vicinity causing filth, a separate area should be designated for them. A duck had got fishing hook along with line tucked in its face for days, reported it and they tried to locate it.
