Such a peaceful experience! I particularly enjoyed sitting in the conservatory watching the rain roll over the mountains!
The Winthrop Estate is a hidden gem in the Berkshires. It could not be more perfectly located, so close to the village of Lenox and Tanglewood! I love the architecture, decor and grounds. It is so comfortable with rooms for everyone to enjoy: the plant filled conservatory, the cozy library, the dining room made for holidays, and many bedrooms to choose from. Stayed here for 5 nights with 23 family members from ages 4 through 69. We had a wonderful time! The home (castle, as we called it) was extremely spacious and beautiful! The layout worked so well for large groups to gather and for smaller groups to find quieter places if wanted. The house was so well-equipped with kitchen materials, blankets, towels, pillows, and even toys and games for the kids! My daughter was married here last month and we all stayed at the estate. It was an absolutely beautiful place for a wedding, and our stay was wonderful! Highly recommend!!
The Winthrop Estate is a breathtaking property, and hosts Jaime Berg and Ethan Berg could not be more welcoming. Their warmth and attention to detail make the entire experience exceptional. The large bedrooms are absolutely lovely. I stayed in one of the smaller bedrooms and it too was wonderful, but not because of the upholstered walls or antique furniture.
