Our first visit to the store started out fine. Two women were helpful enough while we shopped. We bought a variety of items for slightly under $100. Upon removing the outer plastic wrap from a designer plastic wrap kit we bought, I decided I didn't want to bother with any assembly, and thought to return the $15 item. When I tried to return the kit, I was told by the owner that there was "nothing I can do about it. How am I supposed to sell it now?" Hmm. The two women that run Winterberry Home rude and snobby. I have been in several times and every time they have followed me around the store like I'm trying to steal something!! The first couple of times I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought it may just be a fluke. Then I brought my daughter in to pick her out a gift and they hovered over her. When she went to pick up a stuffed animal they told her not to touch it, they had "special" ones that could be touched or "petted". I DO NOT let my child wander in stores so ... read more
