I brought my 15 year old Shih Tzu to this clinic and he was treated by Dr. Newman. I was given an estimate range of $2700-$3200 for our baby to be admitted from Thursday to Sunday. He was very sick with hemolytic autoimmune anemia. I was told by Dr. Newman they were going to be doing labwork and an ultrasound guided tissue biopsy of the spleen and possibly liver to check for cancer. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience.
Do not bring small animals here, especially Ferrets! They can not take proper care of them and you will most likely lose your precious family member. For shame.
Absolute negligence and unprofessional and unempathetic staff. Good to see you care more about making $$$ than the lives of innocent animals.

It is always tragic when our pets are gone suddenly. Unfortunately, exotic pets are more likely to hide disease and become critically ill. In emergency cases like this, outcomes are often uncertain, even with the best medical care. RecommendedI took my sick cockatiel, Potato, here not knowing why he was vomiting after two check ups they gave him some medicine for 14 days. After taking them he was better and is back to his active self and is even gonna be a father soon. I recomend them 100%!
I thought my 14-year-old Chihuahua was dying. My vet was closed. Called Winter Park veterinary hospital and they said to bring him right down. After checking in and waiting in the parking lot for an hour the tech came out and told us the vet said she could not see my dog and for us to go to Casselberry to the emergency vet. I would have done that first if she had not said to bring him there. Thankfully it was a seizure and my dog is alive.

They were so friendly, and take care of my Quaker Parrot, real good. Dr Newman, was an amazing vet. The kind of guy that give you the awesome vibes that every Vet should have like your head Doctor. Great facilities, and now through the limitations with the Covid, they get your pet on point. Highly recommended.
