I waited MONTHS for a colonoscopy appointment and I am 9 years behind due to inept physicians, and they waited until ONE WEEK prior to the procedure to call and say "oh we don't take your insurance but you can pay out of pocket." Florida is a hideous place to need medical care.
Terrible Experience... Facility established in 1998 and it looks like it. Very old and low tech. Lobby overstuffed with worn out chairs and randomly scattered "do not sit here" cards. The pre op area was crammed with stretchers and cardboard boxes everywhere like a third world storage facility. The IV needle start was painful and caused swelling bruising and pain. This was one of the worst experiences that I have had in a long time. My spouse went for surgery for his back. It started out great but ended up all wrong. At 330 the aids in waiting room left and told us(the families) that we would have to answer the phone and find the family. Okay but this is wrong.
