This was my first visit and I found doctor Cope and all the staff to be friendly, knowledgable and professional. I barely sat down when they called me back into the exam room. The nurse explained everything she was tesing for and was able to answer all my follow-up questions. Dr. Cope was very friendly and explained not only the eye tests being ran, but also explained the effect blood sugars have on the eyes and the need to practice preventative care, such as using eyedrops several times a day to avoid issues in the future. ... read more
This was my first visit to the Eye Institute of West Florida with an appt with Dr Cope. The entire staff is very friendly, efficient, service oriented and professional. Dr Cope and his assistant were perfect for what I needed and diagnosed exactly what was causing my eye irritation and swelling. I have a program which I can easily do and will return in 3 months for a follow-up. Dr Cope is now the only eye Dr I will use in the future. He never talked "at me" but "with me" which is an important difference in the medical world.... read more
