Rented from Gile for the 2017 season, in his 767 Apt. A unit. I really liked renting from Gile, he stops by at least once a month to pick up rent, and will stop by to fix up things if they need fixed up. Some of the other reviewers have mentioned cleaning charges, but these were not an issue for us, we cleaned up the unit nice and didn't run into any problems. Gile & Gidget purchased the apartment I was renting and had the pleasure of being one of their tenants for the 2021 year. I love that they give plenty of space and only stop by for rent or if there is an issue with something regarding the house. They respond fast and are a very friendly duo. Gile's a funny guy, and loved having him as a landlord!
Gile and Gidget have been nothing but a pleasure to work with! Before signing the lease, they laid put their rules and expectations for us. Gile is always prompt in responding to any questions we have, and is always quick to repair any fixes that are needed. Gile often goes out of his way to make sure we are doing well in the unit we rent from him. I rented from Gile Gibbons two years ago and found him to be a horrible landlord. If something went wrong, he wouldn't fix the problem without yelling at us about there being an issue. Then, on the day I moved out, he decided that our house was not clean enough for his liking, and found it appropriate to call me WHILE I WAS AT WORK to swear and yell at me.
