I am a resident here. This place is HORRIBLE. The employees are rude, I'm always out of at least one medication, I've been here 3yrs and haven't had pt not once. I'm bed bound with no hope in sight here and I'm 36 yrs old.
This is the second time my mother has needed a rehab facility she chose this one as it was closer to home boy what a huge mistake first off my mother is a diabetic there are no diabetic diets in this place next rehab wow I went twice too see mothers rehab and she was by herself holdin a pole in hand is that rehab and last but not least my mother started bruising where her iv had been placed I guess I was the only one concerned for the doctors weren't..or maybe it was beacause it didn't fall on one of three days they are ther... read more
Recently my mother had to stay at this place,due to abuse and rehabbing her condition. This was impossible because there was a few racist nurses there and a few nurses I myself smelled weed on. One racist nurse by the name of Janice Lofton made me leave my mothers room because the white lady in the other room felt uncomfortable with a black guy in the room at certain times, specifically after 8:30. Can we say Jim Crow? This place gets a 1 star until they get rid of trash like this. Thank you
I have nothing but good to say about the care given here. Very caring caretakers. I'm sure there is someone unhappy with any place you check out but I would tell any of my family or friends to have a love one taken to Consulate in Woodstock, VA. They helped my family member get back on their feet faster then I thought would happen. They worked hard with him to get him back home.
Nursing homes seem like a great place to send your loved ones. However, when abuse, neglect, and drug use is taking place how safe are they? This nursing home may be a 5 star facility, but people don't see what happens on the inside. CNAs being forceful and rough with residents, nurses high on pills, employees coming in smelling of alcohol. All this is covered up by administration in order to maintain their "perfect" rating. If a staff member is complained about they are simply moved to a different hall on a different shift.... read more
The facility was incapable of providing the most basic needs for my family member. All complaints went unresolved. Would not recommend.
