I don't normally leave reviews based on horrible experiences, but this Azra woman who works for CFS should be outright fired or at least reprimanded. When I make a concerning call on behalf 3 other family members to have a welfare check done on a child who is constantly in an unsafe environment, she refuses to do one, then hangs up on me when I request to speak to a supervisor about why one will not be done when there is substantial evidence and concern by 3 seperate people of 3 different households. Imagine if you fired every deadbeat child agent and invested in poverty initiatives and trauma recovery. What a wonderful Manitoba it would be!
I called to inform them my 12 year old was being bullied by her mom and adult siblings plus there house was a complete mess with excessive animals but they won’t go look to see if she is ok and I haven’t seen my 12 year old in a while. Clearly CFS is as I thought, useless when you need them, don’t bother calling CFS they won’t help unless you’re a woman. CFS won’t help you unless you have cold hard proof, so they don’t need to work hard investigating someone. I’m sorry my baby, we all failed you!
