After being diagnosed with breast cancer and talking about getting a double masectomy, I didn't know my PCP had referred me and Dr Henderson called me herself one evening to talk to me about what to expect and the pros and cons of surgery. Every appointment I had with her before and after surgery she calmed my fears and thoroughly listened to everything I had to say. She did a wonderful job on my double mastectomy. I am truly grateful for her.
I am now in the process of recovering from my second breast surgery with Dr. Henderson. I am healing very well and again without much pain. She is to the point, professional and competent surgeon. My first surgery was a lumpectomy and it went well, although the hospital had staffing problems in the operating room and some surgeries were cancelled. DO NOT GET SURGERY FROM HER!!!! I am a victim of a botched surgery from her, I went to her after confirming with a scan that I had what I already knew, a left inguinal hernia. It was right next to my hip, the entire consultation was about 3-4 min, I attempted to show her, she held her hand up at me like I was being inappropriate, and told me she already saw the scan, then went on to tell me how it's all basically painless surgery and that I'd be fine in 3 days to a week, then kept referring to some special hernia review webs... read more
