Sadly the Winn Dixie on the corner of Dairy and Singleton is in its last days of operation. The few items left have been moved to the front quarter of the shelves. I grew acquainted with many of its staff who have now moved on. I'll miss their cheerful assistance. The WD Liquor store next door will remain and I'll buy my lotto tickets there with an occasional mini. It was being completely rearranged yesterday to make room for the last of the groceries beer and wine. Aldi's will renovate the grocery and open in a few months.

I really enjoy coming to this Winn Dixie. It's always neat and clean, friendly people. Found out today they are closing and putting in an Aldi. I hate Aldi. The Winn Dixie on Harrison is staying. Time to find another Winn Dixie in Volusia County.
