Rotten meat I bought a pork roast a couple of days ago to smoke today. It smelled absolutely rotten, but it was not past the sell by date. My refrigerator is 34°. I had gone to the same Winn Dixie yesterday and my receipt with my roast had a 3x points, so I let them keep it. I tried to return the smelly pork roast today and buy another, but they wouldn't take it back because I didn't have the receipt.
