I have been here many times and I would rate my prior experiences as average to above average. Today was terrible. The bartender was incredibly rude. Did not acknowledge me for 10 minutes (no exaggeration). Intentionally did not make eye contact. When I finally managed to get her attention she smugly apologized and said she had been really busy, which is not true. Fortunately she moved on to perform some other duties. The young man that replaced her was pleasant enough but her level of rudeness was unparalleled.
Absolutely terrible. No food at all. Asked for a refund and they said the best they could do was a “credit” for the next visit. Will never return. Avoid this lounge.
Opened almost 45 minutes late.. Was freezing in the lounge. No food and the coffee was terrible.
I can only give one star. The listed hours show opening at 7 a.m. My flight was boarding directly across from.the lounge at 730. At 730, Wingtips had still not opened. So, I didn't get to use the lounge.
The good: Nice staff, clean bathrooms. The bad: Dirty carpet. Food selection: potato chips, admittedly nice salad. Electrical outlets by my lounge chair didn't work. STL's Wingtips Lounge is dated. Staff is nice but shorthanded. Amex Platinum isn't cheap. Hot water dispenser out of coffee machine sprays instead of providing a steam of water. Is this what card members get with their Priority Pass membership for $600+ a year?
