We brought 3 baby squirrels in after accidentally disturbing a nest in a vent :(. It was a Sunday afternoon and we were panicked that we were not going to be able to find adequate care for them. The staff here were very quick to respond to our message and we were able to bring them in right away. The reception staff were very knowledgeable and reassuring about the babies and their ability to care for them. Thank you so much for being there for us and these little guys. We hope they’ll be okay.
lady I spoke with was very rude and condescending, said they would call me back regarding a possibly injured baby bunny, I waited 2 hours called back and the next lady said the other girl didn’t say that which she did as she also said the phone saved my number that I called from.. so basically waste of my time waiting for the call, I get I live an hour away but they could have just said that from the beginning. First girl I spoke with was nice but clearly didn’t know their protocol/ did not call me back.
An absolutely incredible place that goes above and beyond to help wildlife. I’ve seen comments about the woman who answers the phone, but she’s incredibly hardworking, often juggling countless responsibilities while caring for the animals. She truly has the best intentions. I’ve volunteered here many times, and it’s been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences of my life. The dedication and compassion of everyone here is amazing. If you have the chance to support or volunteer with them, I highly recommend it.
