Photographed a Powerboat Race around NYC today. We go down the Hudson/East River then Harlem River. They managed airspace great. Got us into positions to get amazing shots low to the water. They were able to navigate our requests for shots and were very responsive and communicative. Awesome experience. Best shots I’ve gotten in 3 years of doing this race.
Absolutely and positively a wicked 1st time flying a helicopter thanks to my instructor Ryan Culpepper. He was thorough answering all my questions and offered just enough pointers for a smooth first time flying. Thanks again Ryan and everyone at Wings Air Helicopters!

Les pongo cuatro estrellas y no cinco porque éramos el último vuelo del dia y nos dio la sensación de que tenían ganas de plegar y todo fue más precipitado cuando aterrizamos. La experiencia del sobre vuelo increíble y sensación de tranquilidad y confianza transmitida por el personal en todo momento. Experiencia 100% recomendable, pero recomiendo no contratar el último vuelo sino el de las 20.30h como máximo.
I booked a helicopter tour with Wings Air Helicopters for my family of four (including myself) as a special gift to celebrate my parents’ anniversary.
