I worked at Wingate for about three years as the Activities Coordinator in the Memory Care Unit, and my experience was nothing short of wonderful. I’ve felt so relieved to have my brother at Wingate Silver Lake. First at Independent side where Joe H was amazing. Then he was moved to Assisted living which is perfect for his needs. The staff is very attentive, caring and helpful. The facilities are beautiful and the activities plentiful.
Love the staff at the skilled nursing facility at Wingate they are always caring and willing to help me with what ever my husband needs.The therapy team is awesome.Very clean facility and beautiful surroundings.Im so happy my husband's in good hands!
My mother was a resident there for over a year. She fell in the activity room and was injured. After a week of rehab it was decided she could not return. I let them know on 5/5/25 she would not be returning. I had her room empty on 5/15/25, I was told there was a 60 day notice required. She was hurt on their watch and now she will be charged for 11 weeks for an empty room with no food or services totaling over $15,000.00. That is disgraceful in my opinion. 30 days is reasonable, 60 days is larceny!
