My mother was a resident there for over a year. She fell in the activity room and was injured. After a week of rehab it was decided she could not return. I let them know on 5/5/25 she would not be returning. I had her room empty on 5/15/25, I was told there was a 60 day notice required. She was hurt on their watch and now she will be charged for 11 weeks for an empty room with no food or services totaling over $15,000.00. That is disgraceful in my opinion. 30 days is reasonable, 60 days is larceny!

My Aunt has had the privilege of calling Wingate home for the last six years beginning at the independent living and then at their assisted living. I can’t say enough about the care, support and compassion she experienced while there. My mother was a resident of The Inn at Wingate Kingston and then the skilled care facility, for about a year in total. She received excellent care at all times. Every member of the staff I interacted with was kind, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and some of them may, in my view, be eligible for sainthood. The buildings are bright, cheerful, clean and very well maintained. I offer my highest recommendation to anyone who is considering Wingate in Kingston.

I was a resident there for days the place is dirty it took them three days to wet mop the bathroom floor with 4 people using that bathroom. Will never go back or recommend this place.
