It's a decent place but needs an overall upgrade and a small dog park would be welcomed. The field is grass and the netball courts are almost never used.
If you live in the neighborhood, you know Wingate Park isn't the shiny, high budget spot you’ll find in other parts of Brooklyn, but that’s exactly why it works. It’s got that "old school" grit and a lot of heart. The Track The centerpiece here is definitely the track. Let’s be real: it’s seen better days and is due for a professional renovation.
