Excellent
Great place to stay. Very close to wineries. 5 minute walk to shopping and restaurants. Very warm and comfortable. Lovely managers. Very clean. Lovely and quiet. Would be nice in summer, with nice grounds and pool.
Top notch motel. Just across the road from the excellent Tuilleries restaurant. This was our first long trip in our new electric car. We charged our Hyundai Kona at no cost using the Tesla charger outside our room so if booking ( directly with the motel) tell the owners you need to charge. We had to download the Tesla app. Once we sorted this out it was fairly straightforward: our car initially said it was not charging so I had to use the screen in the car to accept charging. This was an excellent motel. The rooms were well equipped and immaculately presented. Location wise, it's a stroll in to Rutherglen and a short drive to the local wineries. The owner Sue, was also very friendly and helpful giving us a steer on what to visit during our stay. If I find myself in Rutherglen again, which I hope I do, this place will be my first port of call.
