This bar is charming, welcoming, and a lovely place to drop in for a cocktail (or two). The bartender, Thistle, makes the experience top-notch with his combination of craft cocktail skills and hospitality. I'm looking forward to visiting again next time I am in AVL!

This is the cutest little intimate cocktail bar! The bartender, Ashley, was amazing. Made great cocktails and was so kind to us as we had a fussy newborn! She didn’t make us feel like a bother - in fact, we took our drinks out to the front porch, and she made it a point to come out and tell us we weren’t bothering anyone. Highly recommend this place!
Great set up. Wine and Roses is the brain child of the Zelda Dearest Hotel. It has a great patio setting where you can bring your own charcuterie or other foods and you purchase wine from the bar. You don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy the setting. The patio is large with nice table/chair setups as well as small conversation couches and chairs. Snagged a drink here before we went to Biltmore - we stayed at Zelda Dearest but according to the bartender they recently opened the bar to the public. Bartender was very friendly and the place had a nice vibe!
