I did the wood burning class. Not much direction, kind of just pick up your tool and start. Though it's not complicated so it's easy to get the hang of it. What gave it 3 stars for me is how uncomfortable I was during the entire 2 hours. Having to either hunch over, stand, squat etc. the tables are super low and the chairs seating is basically the same height of the tables. That alone made the class quite miserable for me. My best friend and I decided to try out a door hanger painting class at Wine & Design and couldn't have had a more fun Monday night!! We ended up being the only two in the class and had such a delightful time painting our hangers with Janie. The process was user-friendly from start to finish, with all the materials we would need ready and waiting for us when we walked through the door. Name is misleading, there is no wine included. It’s not “wine and design”, it’s more like “design”.. $80 for two people I feel like was overpriced for the experience. The instructor was nice and knowledgeable nothing againsed her but it felt more like a teacher checking over your work then a free painting experience, I found it to be more overwhelming then enjoyable. Space was really confined as well.
