We unfortunately did not have a positive experience with Don and Wine Country Artisans. Don catered our wedding in the summer of 2021. He was initially professional and gave us a competitive quote. Things however went downhill from there. Key issues included multiple extended periods of not responding to emails and texts, changing pricing after agreeing to a quote, showing up late on the day of the event, taking alcohol leftover from the event, and not properly cleaning up. Wack experience, was not satisfied with their performance at all. Never been so underwhelmed with a catering service before. Do not recommend at all.
Don is a fantastic cook. Great caterer. Hands down capable.
I would never recommend this business. This guy is extremely rude and unprofessional not only to his staff, but to guests as well. Nothing was prepared on time and the event was disrupted by loud arguing, cursing, and yelling. On top of that, they’re were late and left a mess behind. Avoid at all costs.
Overall, I would give my experience with WCA Catering 2 stars. I got married in October 2022 and had them cater a small 70 person wedding at a friend's property. Don assured me this would be a very easy event for him, yet I did not feel confident in him throughout the process. PROS: The food was good. We had a buffet with salad, pizza, tri-tip, and asparagus.
