amazing little shop! Amazing selection of wines from all over the globe, from French Bordeaux that will cost you your next paycheck, to Chilean Cabs that you can get with a ten-spot. Cheese selection is large and incredible, and they have a small selection from the charcuterie as well. Small liquor and beer selection, but that's not why you go here to shop, so it's really not a negative in my book. Wine & Cheese Cask This place rocks. The staff can cater to fancy wine-snobs as well as to wine-fools in their recommendations, and I have never been disappointed with a bottle that has been recommended by them. They make the perfect stop on your way to a dinner party, with their selection of delicious cheeses and cookies. Also a decent selection of beer.
large selection of cheese and wines Also known as Wine and Cheese Cask. Large selection of very good wines and many many different cheeses. They also have pate and mousses at their deli. I recommend the Piave - like a parmesan but lighter and less salty. Only place I know of to carry a particular brand of sparkling red Italian wine (Brachetto). Limited selection of beers and liquors though.
great selection of cheeses! Not only is the cheese selection great, but there is someone knowledgeable there to help you and give you little samples so you always end up with what you want. They also have good wines, and a decent selection of beers, but I think the cheeses set them apart.
RecommendedI ordered a case of mixed wines as well as some cheese and crackers for my daughter's birthday back in April and The Wine and Cheese Cask did an exceptional job of choosing everything and delivering it to her on the same day.
