Love this place. Lacking a number of niceties but makes up for with warm service and super location. This is the WV mountains so don't be expecting NYC services or treatment.
Not sure if the poor sobs went out of business... tried calling but the phone just keeps ringing, tried the online form no reply, tried emailing but the message is returned as failed. No option for online reservations. I understand the aviation industry is behind the times. But sheesh.
Everything was amazing. Got in at about 11:00 pm. My room key was in an envelope and everything went very smooth. Even when it is off season. Woke up early and was able to enjoy the view it was breath taking. For breakfast went to the restaurant there, the server was so nice she was talking to us and giving us all the details about the attractions and the tips with wild life. Food was delicious got an egg omelet, serving sizes are great and the coffee is amazing. I recommend this to anyone who wants to unplug from technology... read more
Motel-style lodging with very few amenities but the rooms were very clean although outdated. Supposedly they have WiFi but none of the guests I asked were able to find it. There's better lodging in the area but I wouldn't rule it out if you are looking for a clean bed and bathroom.
