I recently accompanied my elderly mother-in-law to an appointment with Dr. Machida, and was very impressed. Dr. Machida and his staff were friendly, professional, and patient throughout the visit. They conducted a thorough exam and took the time to explain everything clearly, without any high-pressure sales tactics. I really appreciated the respectful and caring approach they showed. I would highly recommend Dr. Machida and his staff to anyone looking for an optometrist in the Windward area.
I love the expertise and immediate assistance when I visited them. They were professional and prompt with getting my new eye glasses and contacts. Great state of the art medical equipment to scan your eyes as well. Definitely my go to eye doctor. Much Aloha! Dr. Machida and his team are always warm and welcoming from the moment we arrive. He genuinely enjoys explaining our screening results, takes the time to answer every question, and makes sure we never feel rushed. The care and attention we receive here are outstanding!

Dr. T and all the staff here are very thorough and kind. Dr. T actually went over all of my optic pictures and explained what everything meant, which I haven’t had an eye doctor do before, so it was very interesting and I really appreciated the thorough patient care. The front desk staff also assisted with picking out frames and were very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall I highly recommend!!
