Worst hospital service I have experienced. I fell off my scooter and was bleeding, but I had to wait around 6 hours before I finally received stitches. When I returned later to have the stitches removed, I had to wait another 4 hours. I understand that hospitals can be busy and that emergencies need to be prioritized, but waiting this long while injured was extremely frustrating and concerning. The overall experience was very disappointing. I hope the hospital seriously looks into its wait times and patient service.

Wait times are ridiculous. One doctor for the whole ER ??? How do we solve this ?

My experience in the ER was second to none last evening. I was 6 days post-chemo and had a fever. As per chemo protocol I am to go to the ER with a temp of 38.3 or higher. There was absolutely no wait; bloodwork and vitals were done immediately and I was given a bed within minutes. I was quickly assessed by nursing and well as the doctor. As a cancer patient receiving chemo I have full confidence in the ER staffs' ability to triage properly and act quickly when warranted.

I arrived at the Met Hospital Emergency room with acute kidney stone pain. Within 15 minutes I was given something to control this horrible pain and it became very tolerable. Once I was taken inside the emergency department from the waiting room, they promptly did a CT scan and determined the cause of my pain. I was given a referral to see a specialist and the meds for pain control. Overall a very pleasant experience. Nurses are fantastic and everyone is very professional, pleasant and polite.
