Highly recommend! The selection is huge and the staff are so knowledgeable. We were trying to replace a wooden panel for a wall, and we needed a specific wood grain and colour match. The other chain stores we went to weren’t able to help us identify the wood sample we had, or what kind of stain to use. But at Windsor Plywood, Gary and Kevin took one glance at our wood and knew exactly what kind it was, had the wood we needed in stock, helped cut the new board to size, and then recommended what kind of stains to use to get a ... read more
Great selection of wood. Even have planks to make tables or bar tops. Also have oval and round pieces to make charcuterie boards
When I visited to look at hard wood stock, one of the staff helping me spent quite a lot of time lying to me while I was asking questions. I'm not overly knowledgeable in wood work, but knew enough to realize they were making things up. I didn't call them out to avoid confrontation. My husband visited Windsor to find material for a mantle, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The staff were unhelpful and showed no initiative in providing assistance. He had to flag someone down, only to be disregarded and made to feel as if he should already know exactly what he needed. Providing guidance and support to customers is a fundamental part of customer service, and this experience made it clear that it wasn’t a priority.
