Fun, great staff. The facility is enjoyable and a little eccentric. It can host dress-down or dress-up events.
They Need OUR Help Staff needs direction - does not help with details. Not ready on many tasks. Need to keep on them, but they do follow direction. Champagne at the front entrance was 20 minutes late. Appetizer table and food placed out 10 minutes late. Had to ask to put votives at bar area. Staff shows up only 60 minutes before the event is to begin. No one is around and no one on staff asks what can they do to help get the site ready. Hit or Miss – We had an event there several months ago. . .we had gone to great lengths to plan everything well, but wow really let us down. . .they arrived nearly two hours late. . . .which really caused a huge problem for us. . . .we were to have two receptions. . .food was ok for the first, but certainly not plentiful. . .guess someone forgot to tell the staff about the second reception because there was no food. . .when we complained they hustled out some popcorn and crab rangoon. . .by the time they got the correct food... read more
Horrible Attended my daughter's dance studio's performance here - this place is awful!!!! Studio was told there would be someone there at 7 am, we were there with truckfuls of costumes and props, sound company, staging company, no one from WOW showed up. We sat in the cold for and hour and a half before someone showed up with all kinds of excuses, then they ran out of food at the reception. WOW!!!!! Windows On and Off Washington is hands down one of the best places in St. Louis for weddings. With a champagne greeting when you first come in to the downtown loft feel, it's amazing!!! Our planner, Colleen, did a great job from start to finish. I felt like I was planning my wedding with a good friend not just another planner. Oh and the food was wonderful, all my guests just raved about it!
Windows Off Washington Horrible Nightmare. Windows off Washington is a mess and very dangerous.. only two elevators to get to the 10th floor. A line stretched outside the building for guests to get up to their receptions 4 weddings on the same floor and a prom and not even an elevator for the personell and bands. a total mess. people were late to get into their weddings. What if a fire started this could be a catastrophy, deaths never will i recommend this place horrible and at the end of the night rediculous you had to walk... read more
too risky Windows On Washington - Risky? You decide....but why risk your family and friends....for a hundred dollars a plate, you should be able to enjoy yourself without having to worry about theft and insensitive staff....
Amazing view This venue offers an amazing view, wonderful catering and a great atmosphere. The only drawbacks are they are a bit pricey and the location (downtown St. Louis) tends to "scare" off some area residents. The reception site itself is really gorgeous. You'll love all the photographs of your wedding reception or party in this venue.
