I needed help restringing a Hunter Douglas window shade. The store from whom I bought the shades discouraged my even coming in, saying the repair might cost $125 and that it would be cheaper to buy a new shade. This store never saw the shade, so this says to me they just didn't want to deal with it. Called Jerry at Window Fashions and took the shade in. Jerry Belcher and his wife, representing Window Fashions of South Charleston, visited our apartment on August 2, 2019 to appraise a window treatment for my wife and me and to give us a cost estimate. They were here for about an hour and, as they were leaving, Jerry quoted me a price of $1800 to “fabricate and install custom drapery panels and pole swags for the patio door and adjoining window over the PTAC unit”. I called Window Fashions and some with Jerry Belcher the week before Christmas. Understandably he was busy, took my information and was to call me the following week. No phone call. I waited and called last week and spoke to a lady who found my contact information on Jerry's desk and left a note for him that i called again. Still no call. I called today and Jerry hung up on me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I took in two antique dining chairs for refinishing and reupolstering and I could not be happier with the finished results. They paid special attention to the fine details on the chair legs, the color of stain, and the decorative stitching around the button tufting on the chair backs. The staff is very competent and skillful at their crafts and I would not hesitate to use their services again!
