In July 1963 we spent a week of our honeymoon at Windemere House. It was great. Don't know of anything I would have changed. Ron and sharon sutek.
We celebrated our wedding of 100 guests at Windermere House this past December and were absolutely blown away. From a welcome dinner Friday night in the pub to breakfast Sunday morning, everything was absolutely perfect. Morgan, Chef Aaron and the entire team are absolutely incredible. Had a wonderful experience at the Windermere House the weekend of July 15th, 2023. This is a timeless part of Muskoka's history where the old meets the new. Classic, heritage building with renovated and modern suites. I was staying at one of the balcony suites on the second floor. The views of Lake Rosseau from the room are breathtaking. So quaint and beautiful in the winter! Loved the hot tub outside, the saunas and the view from our room. Inside main areas are nice, full of history and apart from not enough light in the room and the bathroom being a bit small it was definitely a great place to stay. Definitely visiting again in the summer!
