**I’d like to update this review. This facility received several citations relating to my mother’s care here in assisted living. She passed away after residing here for under a month. If your relative requires assisted living I would not consider this retirement home. We were definitely oversold in the care our mother would receive here. Staffing was limited for the amount of people requiring care on this floor.
Arrived at Winchester Glen in Dec to try it out. I found the residents very welcoming and the staff wonderful. The meals are delicious with lots of variety. I like that there are plenty of activities to participate in. What's not to like. I'm definitely moving in full time to my new home, Winchester Glen.

My wife and I moved here in April and we both agree that this has been one of our wises choices recently made. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you need accommodations with assistance or want to live independently this is the place to be. If you are looking you need to meet Sara, who in our opinion, is the heart and spirit of this place. The food is delicious, entertainment daily or activities if so desired. We are very happy and pleased to be here.
UPDATE: Winchester Glen has been cited for Neglect by the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority as a result of their lack of care and compassion. The RHRA legal team is now considering penalties. Please take this into consideration before placing your loved one here. Winchester Glen Retirement Home has a 4th Floor, Bridlewood Lane, which they operate as a Long Term Care Facility.
