Great group of professionals from check-in, prep, procedure to departure. Can't think of anything I would change. My experience today was 5+ Stars. Many Thanks to Winchester Gastroenterology for their care, patience and professionalism.
Communication is a HUGE issue with this office. I can’t say if they are understaffed or overworked, or both. But as a patient, how they treat you when you call is just…awful. You can’t reach anyone. When you finally get someone on the phone they are incredibly short with you. I do like my provider (a PA) who has excellent attention to detail but the provider is only as good as their staff, and I can’t say what’s going on with this practice. This was our first visit to WGA. We were very impressed by our experience. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed by staff members who were both efficient, professional and also warmly human. The office rooms and rest rooms were immaculately clean. The preparation process was speedy and courteous. All medical personnel came across as seeming to care for me both as a patient and an individual. Everybody at Winchester Gastroenterology is an expert at making the patient feel completely at ease and in good hands. From Kelly making check-in a breeze, Doctor Gordon explaining everything and ensuring readiness for the procedure, Nurse Rose, Nurse Heather, and Nurse Amanda making every step comfortable, easy and enjoyable, Carlos singing a perfect rendition of "Be Our Guest" as his anesthesia took effect, to the incredibly efficient, totally professional Doctor Ayoola...what a perfect team!
