Andy and team at Winchester Electric went above and beyond to assist me with a generator issue that actually ended up being an issue with the electric line itself. Even though they were booked up and onsite at other locations they were able to troubleshoot with me over the phone, sharing photos back and forth, and solved a not so easy issue to uncover. Super helpful, and likely saved me days of heartache. Great service from a company that truly cares about its customers.
During the Fourth of July weekend and the hottest day in history our generator malfunctioned and would not allow incoming power from our power company. I contacted Winchester Electric Service technicians who were on the road in Pennsylvania. Through cell phone conversation, text messages and pictures the technician were able to diagnose the problem and walk me through the fix. John was excellent, and so is Winchester Electric.
8 years ago Winchester Electric installed a Generac generator for us and it’s run flawlessly through all of the storms and outages we’ve had. They have maintained it for us every year and I credit their care with its reliability. Today Jon Dillow came out and performed the yearly maintenance and despite the snow and wind he meticulously serviced it. Definitely an outstanding representative of Winchester Electric. 5 stars for sure.
I had asked for a 9 a.m. service, I had to call at 10 was told be called in hour and half, service was not until 2:45pm, it would have been nice to be informed by the office, Jon is an excellent service person. I find the costs $389.07 high as didn’t need a battery.I have had the generator serviced every year since I bought from Winchester Electric in 2006, with paying electrician, line for propane almost $10,000 . Long time customers shouldn’t have to pay so much.
