Our 7 year old dachshund was diagnosed with IMPA by VCA Northwest up near Portland and prescribed prednisone. The prednisone wreaked all kinds of havoc on his poor little body. We are so thankful for Wilvet South and their staff for taking care our little guy. He had to stay multiple nights in their ER facility as he would not eat, could barely walk, and was throwing up blood. Took my cat here yesterday after she had been vomiting and passing diarrhea for a couple of days. For an emergency vet place, we were seen in a reasonable amount of time and the staff treated by baby with the best care! They ensured that I understood the process and course of treatment and were happy to answer any questions. Thank you so much for the excellent care!
My husband went in with our husky who was lathargic, not eating, and puking and had diarrhea. We were so scared and didn't know what was going on. Within 2 hours they knew that she has pancreatitis and kept her over night. We are so thankful for their help. My husband also said the facility is super nice and comfortable and the staff were kind. Great emergency vet experience!
