This review is directed to management at Wilvet South. Our 26-year-old cat fell from a recliner and shattered his hip. We rushed him to your clinic around 11 PM, in obvious pain, and what followed was unacceptable. Staff refused to accept U.S. cash, even holding a bill-checking pen, forcing us to scramble transferring money to cards while our cat suffered. They really care about your animals. They understand vet care can be expensive and do everything they can to lower that number and also help with financing and care credit. They hear you out, fully listen and adore your pet and give detailed plans on care. 10/10 Jonny helped us and he was amazing ! Would recommend
I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the care my cat and I received during our visit tonight. While every staff member I interacted with was polite, the overall experience was extremely distressing and unacceptable. Apparently Wilvet is only “great” when an animal qualifies as an obvious emergency. My cat arrived with a three-inch open wound on her neck, yet because it was not actively bleeding, it seems she was triaged as a low priority. Zero Stars. Nothing URGENT about this place. Do not bring your pet here. Waited over 6 hours, 3 of those without even being talked to. They came out with a bill way over $1k, then magically were able to drop it to ~$600. Watched multiple other animals come in and get treated. We were last even though we arrived at 6pm. We left at midnight with a stitched up kitten finally. This place will put you in a room and leave you for hours and try to rip you off. Thank you wilvet for helping me save my 13 week old puppy Copper who ended up catching Parvo. My boyfriend and I can't thank you guys enough. Hes acting exactly how he should be again. Playful and still being cute as ever. No more empty belly. No more throwing up/or diarrhea. Super happy I got him in to you guys before it was to late. The team there did an awesome job.
