Zero customer service and follow up.
We contract with Wiltek Home Elevators to maintain our residential elevator in Savannah, GA. Last week we set up a remote visit through Zoom with the technician Josh to determine why the elevator stopped and would not rise beyond the second floor. Josh responded quickly, and we scheduled the call. Using my iPad camera, Josh walked us through his inspection. The service person left a mess on my floor created by not cleaning up the hydraulic fluid properly. Also he didn’t bring enough fluid to fill the tank so he had to go buy more assuming I would pay for his lack of foresight. The cost was added to my automatic final payment without my permission. Very bad business practice!
My elevator has stopped twice without me touching anything before getting stuck in just the past 7 months. You will either pay $759 for a years worth of unlimited diagnostics (from zoom) or pay $359 for a zoom diagnostic each time. Is part of your revenue model to sell the elevator, and receive extra cash flow since the elevator has recurring issues? Warranty only covers parts.
