Wilson's Orchard offers fun and great food for the whole family. Set on 88 acres of a beautiful valley, Wilson's grows 120 varieties of apples, available to pick or pre-picked. Pumpkins are also available to pick or pre-picked later in the season.Our bakery makes a wide range of homemade goodies, including our famous apple turnovers. Wilson's offers tractor rides, retail shop, and other fun stuff as well.

My husband and I drove down there last Sunday morning. We were on a mission to sample some wine and try their cider. We also wanted to check out their gift shop and taste the ever so popular Apple turnovers...ehich were absolutely delicious!!! Brian and I really liked Wilson's and we'll definately be going back this winter. Highly recommend this Apple orchard.
We love Wilson's Orchard and have been coming for many years but the apples that we purchased this year were not very good. They didn't look good and the taste was disappointing too along with a lot of spots inside that we couldn't eat. Same with the caramel apples. A lot of them were bad inside-very over priced. What they charge for the Honey Crisp and Song of September is ridiculous. Why can't they be the same price as all the other apples? Won't be buying those ever again.
How disappointing. Make the trip to Iowa city to find out no hay rack rides if you aren't in a group through the week....no wagons either...but we are welcome to make the trip to pick apples...with 2 toddlers � won't be back!
Bring the family! Lots of � pumpkins too!! The apple cider donuts and apple cider slushees are a must!
