​City of Wilson Customer Service is an absolute nightmare. Getting anyone on the phone is next to impossible, and when you finally do, the representatives are dismissive and downright rude. ​On top of recurring account overcharges, they fail to send statements in a timely manner. These guys are the absolute worst. Can't get help. No one answers or calls back. They deny payments and say your the reason when they don't process the payments. Even when your bank is involved they will find any way to turn it on you just to collect extra. They will cut your utilities when they chose and lock your account with no notice just to tell you after you try to make payments your account is on cash only. Would give 0 stars, very nonchalant workers. Pray you’re never in a bind especially in this economy. 55$ fee to turn utilities back on and 35$ return check fee, not including late fees $$$!

I've been on Auto pay for over a year and for the 2nd x it suddenly stopped taking the payments on its own without notification to me and I have a double payment which is a failure in the system that's being used and should be improved or upgraded.
