Near the end of 2018, Merchant's Tire & Auto became NTB - National Tire & Battery. Merchant's service has been excellent. However, once a guy tried to rip me off by offering fuel system service on my 2000 Accord. Wisely, I declined and replied that I would look at my owner's manual. Honda's manual doesn't mention such service. This past fall, I tried three times via on-line appointment to get an engine oil & filter service and was informed that the waiting time would be one to two hours! I refused.
I had servo problems with my car, I had to go back five times. The manager, garret and the technican worked nonstop in tell they was able to solve the problem,I was happy. The customer service by all was outstanding it was a good idea for me to make the chose to use merchants, I wish I could remember the tech name. Outstanding,
Today's experience. I had a flat tire in my trunk and went to Merchant's tire shop at 14814 Baltimore Ave Laurel, MD 20707 and i was about to park my car while a Technician suddenly came out of the office and said hold down do not come out and asked me what is the problem and i told him that i get to repair my flat tire and it is in my trunk he ordered me to open the trunk his attitude was very suspicious after few second he asked me to step out and he said you need new tire why he showed me the tire that it is worn from sid... read more
They tried to overcharge for tires - probably because I am a woman and they thought I was dumb. I got tires $200 cheaper from Tires plus - go there or to Mr Tire instead.
