Great care and advice from Dr. Mogavero regarding my 16-year old cat. I really appreciate that he took the time to understand the issue, listen to what I was willing and not willing to do, and provide the appropriate amount of care along with a plan for next steps depending on how she responds. I really appreciate his talent and pragmatism, and is the reason I visited this clinic today. Thank you Dr. Mogavero.
I go to the sister clinic of this vet in Hamilton which is a great clinic but they were booked up today when I woke up to find my cat had been peeing blood (this happened a month ago!) I called the Ancaster clinic and was able to get my cat in right away. Everyone I spoke to today was so lovely and Dr Paula was so kind and explained everything to me. Love the staff here! Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating! Vet cat Cheddar is such a joy also. Hours online don’t match when it is open unfortunately. We couldn’t make it Friday to pick up the food but it says open until 12 Saturdays so we didn’t really put in an effort to go however when we went today (Saturday) doors were locked and no one answered, now we have to go somewhere else to get our pup food to hold her over for one day. Other than we love it here!
Went here recently because my regular vet couldn’t get me in. I brought my puppy because she was having diarrhea. The vet said right away she had parvo without testing her. So we went to a different vet to get the test done. Turns out she did not have parvo. Took her to another vet and was told she’s fine she was just nervous with new things. My puppy is doing good now after a sleep and some food and water. Playing like a puppy should.
For the entire 3 years that we have been coming here, I've received great service from the entire team for both our dog and cat. I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Paula Z. for the first time, and she is an exceptional addition to the team at the Wilson st clinic.
