I came to Dr Sawa for a consultation for bladder surgery. I had gone to another doctor about 8 years prior for a hysterectomy and that Dr declined to fix my bladder issue along with the hysterectomy I was having. Dr Sawa is very kind and patient. He listens to your concerns. He did the surgery for me and I am very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr Sawa and his staff.
Back in 2013, when he worked at the Sturgis hospital in Michigan, he was my primary doctor for my pregnancy. He was the best and wanted to come back to him. I was so saddened to see he left and never got the chance to send him my daughters birth announcement that I had told him he was getting. I wish I could rate higher because he is the best.
Dr. Sawa was my OBG during my two miscarriages, one full term pregnancy and also delivered my baby. He is calm, patient, professional, empathetic and highly skilled. He never rushes. Is excellent with patient communication , provides the patient knowledge based on evidence, answers all questions, provides all options with benefits and risk factors and helps the patient make educated decisions I will not have any other OBG ever in future. But Dr. Sawa. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sawa delivered my son this year , and by far he is the best Dr. I’ve met, not just in his specialty, just best out of all!He made me feel at ease especially those last draining months. He has a very calm and sweet personality. Explains everything very thoroughly. I had a different OB at the start of my pregnancy and he was good, but I was seen by Dr Sawa by chance one day and that was it, he was my Dr from then on. He is kind, honest and he listens. He never made me feel crazy, he kept me calm and explained everything every time. I ended up delivering emergency csection, which was scary, but we were in the best hands. I'm so grateful to have crossed paths, if I could have him as my regular Dr and my daughter's pediatrician I would! He saved us both.
Dr. Sawa is the best OBGYN I have ever seen. He is very caring and soft spoken. He listens to what you have to say and does not make you feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Sawa!!!!
Dr. Sawa was kind, patient and understanding. He performed a myomectomy to remove fibroid tumors from my body and I now feel ALIVE again. I have seen numerous doctors who have told me to simply keep the fibroids in, none of these doctors even considered the possibility that my fibroids were contributing to my fatigue and lack of emotional well being. Dr. Sawa, validated my concerns and recommended that I have the fibroids removed. I am grateful to have him as my surgeon!!
