I think Dr. Wilson is overwhelmed and understaffed for the care of influx of pots patients. His additional "care team members" do not seem to be knowledgeable or up to date with the treatment and care of pots. I was told with my less than 10 minute virtual appointment by Halle to get my medication(s) refilled by my primary care. If I wanted or needed to make an appointment with my pcp... I would have. Dr Wilson is a nice guy and he was very kind to me when I met him and the effort I have put into my own case. I came to his clinic with an already confirmed TTT of pots and already on medicine treatment. I have a long medical history, so I created a long document to organize it for him logically. He ran lots of blood on me almost 15+ tests most of them came back negative which was frustrating. I have been trying to be seen by Dr Wilson for LC/pots since going Cleveland Clinics long Covid clinic in Nov 2023. At that visit they said he wasn’t available but to call, which I did. 3 months later it was the same story. I called everyday for a week leading up to a cardio appointment hoping for a cancellation, nothing. My friend called every for 2 weeks, because he was determined to get me, he got nowhere. Negative stars if I could. As a physician, I was expecting an assessment and individualized plan. As a patient I got nothing. I caught COVID while I was there. Which ironically is what started my issues in the first place. I had some testing done. And since then have received generic non individualized recommendations from an EMR template.
