Mixed Bag; and ER is a Total Waste If you have a Skeletal-Mechanical issue, this facility seems to be as good as many or most. Though historically a bit sloppy they are trying to improve. If you have a coronary, vascular or other critical Internal issue, you would probably be well advised to look elsewhere for safety. If you need urgent Emergency Room attention, Forget It! Dr. Woodall has the gift Dr. Woodall has a gift. I believe he is the most intelligent physician I have ever met. He is very thorough, and professional. You may have to wait a few hours to see him. However, your not a number your his patient. He will take as long as you want with him. Never rushing you. He is wonderful. Oh, he is the only physician I know that works up til 1-2 in the morning. YES that's right, in the a.m .

MOTHER BABY UNIT IS WONDERFUL People always seem to have very different opinions of Wilson Medical Center. I can not speak for every individual on staff or for every department. My experience with their mother baby unit was great. I enjoyed the quality of care that I received. Now, there was one nurse that I just did not like! She was rude and unprofessional! I was determined to not let her unprofessional behavior ruin the reputation of an entire hospital! The positives greatly outweighed the negatives during my stay. I have... read more

Wilson Medical Center If you actually need medical attention I'd go somewhere else! I wouldn't recommend this emergency room to anyone. They are so slow and the people who work there have very little, if any, personality or bedside manner. Sent to a room that still had blood droplets from the last person and the sheets were not changed because they were soiled from the last patient that was on them. I also question the competence of the staff here.
