Scheduled an appointment for a structural engineer to inspect a load bearing wall that had structural issues, when the engineer arrived, was told that he only inspects foundations and not structure. He left without doing any work at all. His scheduler would not provide any direct contact information for the engineer and when I contacted her to try to discuss the issue, she tried to tell me that structural walls and foundation is the same thing - which is not true, and if it is, then why wasn't it inspected if he is a foundat... read more
