Traveller's beware of this place. When the first question they ask is "Are you a local or travelling through", you know that they will try and rip you off. Max insisted on doing extra work that wasn't needed,I had done the job before so I knew how it could be done. Rang a couple of other mechanics in town,said they could do it but fully booked for a couple of weeks. Fully understandable. Ended up getting parts in and doing the job myself. Had a 600km round trip to have hydraulic hoses repaired, arrived and met Max who immediately dropped what he was doing and proceeded to rectify my problem with a level of professionalism that would match any of the so called specialist firms. He had a great can do approach and came up with a solution to adapt fittings / hoses to allow a work to continue. Max and the team went above and beyond helping me with my cruiser. Had a few days waiting for parts ( but all part of the journey in such remote areas). Cannot recommend the guys enough, should you need someone in the tennant Creek area do not hesitate to reach out. Cheers guys
I had a great experience with Wilson Diesel. Max, his admin staff and his team of mechanics provided a great service. They completed my lift kit and service in a timely manner. Each time I went in their workshop was full to the brim but they still managed to fit in my car. Highly recommend!
