I had an amazing experience during my visit to Wilson Climbing Centre. It was a very positive visit, and I am happy to give it five stars.
Gym is exclusive to our club every Thursday night , cant complain about than.. never had parking issue.. love lead climbing here because the wall is.much higher than other gym i've been...
This facility feels truly suffocating under the weight of its new rules and restrictions. I have never encountered a rock climbing gym with so many barriers just to gain entry. Visitors are required to walk through the entire gymnasium to access the space, payment cannot be made at the climbing counter, and even carrying climbing gear in an open bag is not permitted, among other unnecessary limitations. Impossible to find
In one word: inaccessible. Wilson used to be a great climbing gym but in the past year or so, it's gotten progressively more headache-inducing. First, the main entrance closes so you have to go on a side quest through the fitness centre to get there — okay, fine, annoying but not the end of the world. Then they stop accepting payment inside the gym and make you go to the VVC customer service desk where you have to trade your driver's license for a pass if you're not a student — annoying, but I'll deal.
