Absolutely traumatized. She almost killed my baby. I still cannot bring myself to go back into an obgyn. I made one attempt to go back to her . And when I said I wasn't comfortable getting undressed the nurse got the doctor. Doctor snapped at me. Said there's no point in you even being here then is there? And said we might as well do nothing today since I'm unwilling to undress for a vaginal exam. Told me to just leave and reschedule on the way out. Which I did not. Wilson health OBGYN has been incredible. The front desk receptionist Keerstin is fantastic. Shes kind and compassionate remembering you everytime. She makes you feel welcome walking in. Then you get to Maria she’s hands down the best there is. Equally welcoming and kind. Tentative to every concern. After a miscarriage the compassion I was shown by both has made this process so easy to grieve. I cannot wait to try again.
Was sent to get an ultrasound (that cost me $2,000 after insurance) by the nurse practitioner without her even consulting a doctor about my case (that was the 4th she'd heard of in 25 years). When I saw the doctor afterwards, she told me an ultrasound wouldn't even show them what they needed know. A huge waste of time and money. I will be finding a new obgyn office due to this, as $2000 for a test that is not needed is unacceptable and unprofessional. Our specific OB(well just say dr.P) is NEVER in the office, takes forever to look over charts so the nurses can actually talk to you, never returns my calls, lost an important form that needed to be filled out, my daughter needed an iron infusion and they wouldn’t send her referral until I called them and harassed them for it. The entire experience was a complete waste of time. My daughter had some serious health concerns and the doctor couldn’t be bothered to release the results of bloodwork or to answer any of my questions... read more
