The office staff was very nice and I always enjoyed interacting with them. Dr Dilworth however, seemed rushed. I met with him twice before switching to a different provider at a different clinic. At my first meeting with him for my missed menses appointment (I was seeking prenatal care for my 5th pregnancy) I brought up that I had had to visit the ER twice to drain my bladder as I had been experiencing urinary retention. Went to get a transvaginal ultrasound done in 2019 due to a history of fibroids causing issues in my family. The tech asked me about if I'd ever had intercourse before then refused to do the test when I answered, not aware that that was not an appropriate question for the test. Was looking back over my records to compare with recent tests and realized I had a follicular cyst in the notes they failed to inform me about and that the tech wrote that I had refused the test when she had. Absolutely traumatized. She almost killed my baby. I still cannot bring myself to go back into an obgyn. I made one attempt to go back to her . And when I said I wasn't comfortable getting undressed the nurse got the doctor. Doctor snapped at me. Said there's no point in you even being here then is there? And said we might as well do nothing today since I'm unwilling to undress for a vaginal exam. Told me to just leave and reschedule on the way out. Which I did not. Wilson health OBGYN has been incredible. The front desk receptionist Keerstin is fantastic. Shes kind and compassionate remembering you everytime. She makes you feel welcome walking in. Then you get to Maria she’s hands down the best there is. Equally welcoming and kind. Tentative to every concern. After a miscarriage the compassion I was shown by both has made this process so easy to grieve. I cannot wait to try again.
