I attended Wilmington gastroentology with my good friend who was a colonoscopy patient of Dr. Sauer’s. After the procedure, we attempted to go over the results which came back normal. Even though this was good news, it left us with a lot of questions as to what was going on, as we still were unsure as to why my friend was having these miserable symptoms. I went for a Colonoscopy and wasn't cleaned out enough so she couldn't do the procedure. Nobody ever mentioned to me that if you are a diabetic on insulin, you may need an extended prep. She basically berated me and accused me of not doing any of the prep. I thought my husband was going to slug her. She has absolutely NO bedside manner and would NEVER recommend her. If I could give ZERO stars I would.
I almost cancelled my appointment with Dr Sauer based on some of the reviews I had read! I’m so happy I didn't! she came in the room sat down started asking me questions about myself and my concerns! I’m a cry baby cause I get nervous in doctors offices but she reassured me that it was ok! During my exam she talked me through the process step by step!! I just came here to say her name matches her personality. I couldn’t imagine going to school all those years just to be unprofessionally hateful and nasty to the people who come to me for care. If you hate your occupation, do something else. If you hate your life…. Well, you get you what you give. 1 star review must really suck 🤔
