After waiting months to see a GI Doctor I was so grateful to have my appointment to have my concerns addressed. Unfortunately my appointment with Dr. Sauer was terrible. She was rude, short, didn’t care about what I had to say, acted irritated and like she did not want to be there. It was a great disappointment to say the least. I recently had my first colonoscopy performed by Dr. Sauer, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel comfortable, informed, and well-cared for. Respectfully, I was eager to finally see a GI doctor after several months of issues and it was nothing but an extreme let down. Dr. Sauer was extremely dismissive and uninterested in anything I had to say. She responded to my questions abruptly and shortly, with little to no explanation. The lack of empathy was palpable. The "exam" was a joke, a waste of a $150 copay She pushed on my belly and listened to me breathe. I never leave bad reviews (go look at others I've left) and felt obligated to share my experience.
Dr Sauer was great! Clear, direct, very knowledgeable. She didn’t miss any details. I would trust her with my care wholeheartedly.
