After 25 years we decided to complete our basement remodel. Four contractors were interviewed and quotes were examined. We recently had our deck redone, resurfaced with composite material and new railings. Working with Wilmes Construction was a great experience. Tom the owner was available throughout the entire process from selecting materials, assisting with color choices that would compliment our home, managing the staff, and making sure everything was done correctly and in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Wilmes Construction and without hesitation, hire them for additional projects in the future.

I'm happy to write a review about Tom and his company. They installed a steam shower retrofit for our guest bathroom, and two custom storm doors for us. Tom remained in good humor despite the frustration of having his supplier deliver the wrong doors twice. Tom and his crew persisted, got the job done, and even came back many months later to address a door that had become misaligned, and the retraceable screens not closing fully. He was dogged in diagnosing the problems, and then fixed them.

Tom and his team were awesome to work with! They helped design our addition and built it just as we planned. Throughout the building process Tom was always onsite and on top of everything going on. Communication was great, build was done timely, and costs were exactly as we planned. We originally had some trouble finding a contractor who would take on our project but Tom and his team were happy to do so! They were friendly, reliable, and honest. I would highly recommend Wilmes Construction for your next project!
