Love the Willow!! So sad it closed
We used to come to the Willows Restaurant often when Matthew was the owner. The first thing we noticed last evening was that it had lost its charm and warmth. We arrived around 6:45 and we were the only people there. (What does that tell you?). On a Friday nite the place should have been busy, it was not. Then I realized they close at 8. N.E. clam chowder was salty, salad bar was minimal, lettuce had rotten pieces in it, yuk! Main course was ok, nothing special.
