Dr. Hammond Called and spoke with me today and will refund me the $99.00 for Ava’s office visit fee. He apologized and explained that the young lady at check out was a new hire. I am pleased that Dr. Hammond cared enough to reach out to me, will refund the money, asked how Ava was doing today, and we will continue to use Willowrun and Dr. Hammond for our veterinary needs.
Very mixed review about Willowrun sadly. On July 5 I went to Willowrun Veterinary Hospital in Smithfield NC for the first time. My cat Ava had an ulcerated eye and it was determined that she needed her left eyeball removed. The cost would be $1,272.90 and follow up appointments were included. They had an opening for the surgery the next day on July 6th. It was performed by Dr. Hammond. RecommendedI called Willowrun Sat. morning to see if my dog could be seen on an emergency basis as my vet was not open. The staff and Dr. Langdon could not have been nicer! Sammi was worked in in a timely manner, and everything was carefully explained. What a wonderful clinic to have in Smithfield. Thank you so much for your help and kindness!

Even though my little JiJi passed away while there... I'm so glad I took her there...after 1emergency room visit...with no answer of what was wrong...and 2 trips to another vet office...still nothing..but treating worms... I called Willowrun...and they ask if i could bring her in right away..as a walk in...I was told more about my little girl...in 5mins....then I had in 3 days... I was very please with the diagnosis...and at least I know what was wrong with little JiJi..my oppion...the veterinary is very good...and thorough ... read more
Heavy loves it when he comes. The staff is so professional and friendly.
We recently started taking our GSD to Willowrun when he became very sick. The first appointment they worked us in since it was last minute and were SO friendly and obviously love the animals. We saw Dr. Langdon for that appointment and have seen Dr. Hammond for the last few as we have been going every week sometimes twice to get our dog checked. Dr. Hansen and the staff at Willowrun are nothing short of amazing! Very welcoming and friendly. They take great care of my boys!
Dr. Hansen is amazing. I have never trusted someone so much with our kitties as I do her. She is so knowledgeable and compassionate and our babies truly adore her!
